One of the most important parts of PEX fittings is the couplings. These PEX couplings are essentially used in the connection of ends of PEX tubing. The primary purpose of these PEX couplings is to bend tight corners in order make easy installations. Apart from these they can also be used to change sizes and splitting branches. The most common types of PEX couplings are the straight connectors that are increasingly used in various toilet connections and faucets. In order to connect these couplings, there are mainly two types of connections that are used. One of these connections includes the crimp connection that is done using copper crimp rings and crimp tools. The other way is through the clamp connection using clamp tools and stainless steel clamps.
